Couple of decade ago, I could see many YS-11s fly in/out of RJOO but actually last Saturday, Jan. 15th was my first time to get into inside of this aircraft.
The YS-11 is first genuine Japanese made civil aircraft after the WWII. This JA8701 SN:2093 made first flight on Jan.27th 1969.
She made round trip between RJTT and RJAH for this cerebration event then going to make final flight for JASDF Miho base on Jan.20th tomorrow. Not known the plan afterwards.

Some of the YS-11s are still flying at JASDF and JMSDF but not for long I believe....
