May 21 2012 Annular eclipse

On that day, we observed annular soaler eclipse here in Tokyo. Actyually this was my first experiense to "see" that event. I didn't before even I could, may be.

Pictures below are just before full eclipse. Sorry for that but I observed it during few minutes of full eclipse by observation eye glass then forgot to take the picture,,,lol.

ついにA380初体験です。笑
当たり前ですが機内はとても綺麗で、、、3-4-3配列なのでかなり広々です。　天井高がやや低いのかと想像していましたが全くそんな事も無く。
特に驚いたのが静かさです。　Over Wingにも関わらず、音は従来機よりかなり小さかったように思います。



ちなみに、、、これを書いてて気付いたのですが、このHL7611、就航直後に成田でNo4Engineをrunwayにぶっつけたあの機体やったんやぁ。笑

IFR examination

またしても投稿が遅くなりましたが、、、１月１０日HST、IFR Examinationを受けて合格しました！！　本当に大変やったけど、本当に嬉しい！
ここまで121.4hours.  Commercialまで128.6hours. つまり最低でもこれまでの倍を飛ばにゃならんわけです。　長いけど短そう。。。　頑張ろう。
次は７月に、、、目指せ50hours on top.

写真は試験後にリラックスムードでKonaまで往復した際。　予想通り天候が悪く、アプローチ開始直前ですが4,000feetでまだまだ雲上です。　レーダーベクターでHonolulu ILS Y 4R の予定でしたがその後、、、Runway changeで大きく迂回する事に。　たくさん面白い事が起きたフライトでした。

Ending of X'mas 2011

Rainbow in the morning today. I saw more clearly yesterday but missed to take a picture.

I thought I can fly over the rainbow(lol) but it already disappeared when i took off for Lanai.

At the Waikiki beach in the evening, there were lot of people sending the sun lasting X'mas day of 2011.

But.... it was totally different after an hour...

My next reg was scheduled to depart on 2100local time. yes we blocked out alnost on time at 2107local.

But.... Definitely Deice required condition. lol !

After took those long flights, I added more flight time today to my logbook as PIC just before TFR at Honolulu area, as President Obama arrives.  Flown PHNL-PHNY-PHNL, IFR practice approaches.  

Really exhausted today...



  

 

First 787 for JAL

Dec.15th, Boeing revealed a 787 with repainted for new JAL color scheme. This airplane will first enter service for JAL.
Can see that the nose gear doors not equipped yet.

 

787-8 JA801A Main gear glitch

Cockpit crew of the flight NH651/NOV6 RJTT-RJOB JA801A B787-8 noticed no three green during their approach to RJOB Okayama Airport at around 2350Z(Nov.5).
They executed go around and extrended main gears manually then landed safely at around 0017Z(Nov6). This was a first problem reported for the 787-8 in country.

Trans Pacific Airlines

65年前の7月26日、TPAがPassenger Serviceを開始したそうです。　その9年後にはAloha Airlinesと名前を変えます。
残念ながら2008年にはPassenger Serviceを中止しました。

現在はAloha Air Cargoとして貨物部門のみで運行を行っています。

この機体も元はAloha AirlinesのPAX機だったようです。
全米におけるB737-200最後の旅客定期便はこのAloha Airlinesで2008年3月31日に行われたそうです。

B737でいまだにJT8D　engineを持つ機体も珍しくなりましたねぇ。

またしても月が替わってしまう前に・・・

14日に両親は帰国。午後からIFR Trainingに入りました。　ものすごく繊細なControlを要求されるので大変やけど、まぁ、なんとか頑張ろう。
だいぶ過ぎたけど１０日に景観を見せるために親父とMolokaiまで飛んできた。PHLU - Kalaupapa でFullstop.

予定通り

Waikikiから投稿してます。
あの日から何も手に付かず、ただただ祈り続けるだけやったけど、親友たちの言葉や何より、彼女の家族が言ってくれた、”あなたの目標は彼女自身の夢でもあったんじゃないの？”　という言葉で決心がつきました。　予定通り IFR Trainingの為に再びHawaiiに来ています。
最初の１週間は連れて来た両親と観光（僕にとっても初めての観光！）。１４日からはTrainingに入ります。

今回はHNDで両親をpickupしてNRTからのNH7024(UA880)で移動しました。

How we can deal with the situation...

It has been passed more than one month but still no one know when people relief even just for one step to the future...
My family, friends, my team members are all okay and safe but I could not update here,,, even now feeling little bit difficulties still. But I can't ignore worst destructed disaster in Japan history.
I experienced another one which is Hanshin-Awaji(M7.3) back into 17 Jan. 1995, and this time again on 11 Mar. 2011 hits M9.0. Because of massive Tsunami hit to the area, victims will be multiply by Hanshin-Awaji case...
To date, 15,179 deceased victims and 8,803 people are missing.
I also express our appreciation for countries who provides really warm and kind of support for us. Our past days since Mar.11th were hopeless without your heart.
USA, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand, China, Korea, Israel, Mongolia, Afghanistan, New Zealand, Turkey, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, Philippines, Guam, England, Vietnam, Austria, Singapore, Swiss, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Kuwait and many others.
